NEW Traktor Kontrol S4 & S2 mk2

Ed eccoci !! Vi eravati chiesti il perchè di questi price drop ?! ..ovviamente Native Instruments aveva già pronti da sfornare i nuovi hardware !! Ed ecco allora il primo video di presentazione dei nuovi due controller..

Possiamo già avere una buona visione delle principali novità... sostanzialmente... nessuna !! ahah 

No dai qualcosina sarà cambiato! ..anche se così a prima vista lo scheletro è sempre quello.. il layout pure.. nuovi pulsanti e nuovi led rgb per rendere il controller figo e in linea con il Kontrol F1 ...bottone flux mode aggiunto.. nuove jog ad altra precisione?! ...boh non so se effettivamente le hanno cambiate o meno.. poi che altro.. knob del filtro stile dj techtools ...e bona lè !!

Magari mi aspettavo di più io, non so.. per esempio potevano ingrandire anche i tasti dei samples.. ma forse bisognava ridisegnare tutto e quindi era nappalla ...lampo di genio... led colorati !! OLE' nuovo controller ! XD ..si sta volta la vedo così.. ahah

Per quanto riguarda l'integrazione aggiunta.. beh.. puntano su iphone (?!?!? maccheccazz..) e ipad.. plug n play per questi dispositivi !!

ok... I saw the video... ok, they added new rgb Led, bigger buttons, gray knobs.. gray plates on the jog wheels... but... Where is the real new product !?? The integration with iOS ?? MAH!!
I was expecting something different, something real new and not just the old S4 or S2 with those new lights. C'mon guys

How It Works the new Kontrol X1 Mk2 ??

well, I've already spoken about the new controller Kontrol X1 MK2 from Native Instruments in my last post.. yep it was only in italian.. so.. nevermind ! BUT ..today I wanna do this post and I'm gonna talk about the features of this controller. 

..you already know that there is a touch strip and, as you can see, is divided in two section.. so normally if you're using a deck A & deck B you'll have like two separate strips in one. The left side is for the first deck, and of course, the second one for the other one. In the middle you'll find a zone for 'zooming' and switching in a particular deck. It's really simple, you've just to put your finger in the middle, hold it and slide on the left or right for having the entire strip for a particular deck. (Ah, you can also change the response of your touch from the X1 options with the "sensibility" slide..)

Can I only use the touch strip for seeking in the track? Nope! You can also use this strip for the pitch-band and phasing ...and for controlling a particular effect. How?! well, in the middle of this strip there is this zone that can be used like a shift button (the same of before)... so, hold on in the middle with your finger and select the effect in the upper section with the dedicated button... personally I think it can be very useful for some effects, in particular I'm a lover of the beatmasher !! ..but yep, I've already talked about it the last time :D

You can do the same work with pressing the middle of the strip and setting a loop with the dedicated knob.. moving the finger it'll change the lengh of the loop... useful with che flux mode... I suppose.... ahah

What about the browsing knob ? Yeah, finally they removed a knob (do you remember how useless is in the first X1 with two knobs for the browsing section?! ahahah) ...now there is only one knob and two new buttons for load the track in each deck. aaaaand there's another useful features.. with the pushing of the knob you directly zoom-in in the browser section.. so you don't have to press you space bar or use another button on your consolle etc etc etc... well done!

As I've said, this new controller can be very helpful with this new features but I think that it misses of some buttons, like for the hot cues ...I bought the old x1 for that !! XD

Con oggi concludiamo il primo gradino per il grande piano malefico di fine ottobre... intanto ci spariamo la richiesta per il passaporto elettronico ... e giù soldi !!
contrassegno telematico da 40.29 € ...preso!
pagamento di 42.50 € al Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze ...fatto! 
obolo alle poste italiane di 1.30 € per quel bollettino sminchiolato ...ahimè... fatto
fototessere ...fatte! Eh ma per queste ho speso un fracasso... ci son rimasto male! ...7 € per 4 bagagli, eccheccavolo !!! ...eh va beh... amen

già che c'ero ho anche rinnovato la carta d'identità che si era dilaniata dopo pochi anni.. adesso vediamo se questa nuova tessera tiene botta di più delle sue sorelle! :D ...si è già la terza che faccio, di elettronica! Però è la più bella e sbura, quella di carta fa cagarissimo in confronto ! ahahah

mappatura di un controller midi su Traktor - parte 01

Come si esegue la mappatura di un controller midi su traktor? ...la domanda di partenza è questa qua ! Bene allora come prima cosa dobbiamo collegare il nostro dispositivo MIDI alla porta USB prima dell'apertura del programma. Chiaramente è necessario installare gli ultimi driver, e lasciamo il compito al pc che teoricamente se li scarica in automatico. Alternativa : usiamo il CD/DVD che troviamo dentro la confezione del controller oppure li scarichiamo direttamente dal sito del produttore.
