How It Works the new Kontrol X1 Mk2 ??

well, I've already spoken about the new controller Kontrol X1 MK2 from Native Instruments in my last post.. yep it was only in italian.. so.. nevermind ! BUT ..today I wanna do this post and I'm gonna talk about the features of this controller. 

..you already know that there is a touch strip and, as you can see, is divided in two section.. so normally if you're using a deck A & deck B you'll have like two separate strips in one. The left side is for the first deck, and of course, the second one for the other one. In the middle you'll find a zone for 'zooming' and switching in a particular deck. It's really simple, you've just to put your finger in the middle, hold it and slide on the left or right for having the entire strip for a particular deck. (Ah, you can also change the response of your touch from the X1 options with the "sensibility" slide..)

Can I only use the touch strip for seeking in the track? Nope! You can also use this strip for the pitch-band and phasing ...and for controlling a particular effect. How?! well, in the middle of this strip there is this zone that can be used like a shift button (the same of before)... so, hold on in the middle with your finger and select the effect in the upper section with the dedicated button... personally I think it can be very useful for some effects, in particular I'm a lover of the beatmasher !! ..but yep, I've already talked about it the last time :D

You can do the same work with pressing the middle of the strip and setting a loop with the dedicated knob.. moving the finger it'll change the lengh of the loop... useful with che flux mode... I suppose.... ahah

What about the browsing knob ? Yeah, finally they removed a knob (do you remember how useless is in the first X1 with two knobs for the browsing section?! ahahah) ...now there is only one knob and two new buttons for load the track in each deck. aaaaand there's another useful features.. with the pushing of the knob you directly zoom-in in the browser section.. so you don't have to press you space bar or use another button on your consolle etc etc etc... well done!

As I've said, this new controller can be very helpful with this new features but I think that it misses of some buttons, like for the hot cues ...I bought the old x1 for that !! XD

Native Instruments New Kontrol X1 mk2

ed ecco che su l'ondata di release Native Instruments è uscito anche il nuovo Kontrol X1 Mk2 destinato al controllo di effetti e 2 decks. Vediamo subito quali sono le novità salienti ..

...se la parte superiore delle knobs dedicate agli effetti rimane pressochè invariata rispetto al vecchio X1 possiamo invece vedere come in casa NI abbiano avuto (finalmente) la fantastica idea di rimpicciolire i tasti di selezione dei banchi effetti (FX1 e FX2 per ogni deck) ...sì, anche nel primo X1 erano già presenti ma sinceramente era necessario farli così grandi ?! No! ...e di fatti il risultato lo vediamo ora!

Sadismo di mezza estate

Ecco siamo in diretta dalla terrazza...piu precisamente sullo sdraio vicino al mio gatto fuffi...che guardacaso.dorme....dove stra il sadismo? Beh il fatto che sto scrivendo questo post con il cellulare mi sembra abbastanza sadico.... Come stanno andando queste vacanze? ...non e facile dirlo o capirlo...intanto sto lavorando 7 giorni su 7..pomeriggi e sere...ma va beh...i soldi mi piacciono molto.. Ne risente la vita sociale ma ciò si arrangia come si riesce...ho anche conosciuto nuova gente, sa di miracolo questa cosa......mumble mumble....

i miei giorni di ferie per ora ammontano a quota 1...ahahahah... Una scappatella a jesolo all aqualandia xD ...poi va beh ogni tanto dopo il lavoro sui fa un giretto e qualche bevuta in giro...

A parte cio...che dire.. Dopo lo scaione atomico di eri sera...si aspetta sta sera..o meglio la prossima o questa del 10 che deve venire..il programma e salsiccia e birra di mezzanotte su in collina..chissa se riusciremo a vedere anche qualche stella....mbaaah

Vado a letto che domani devo spremere la mia nuova x1 arrivata fresca fresca oggi....farò poi una piccola recensione!

Traktor Kontrol X1 + Traktor PRO 2

ecco un post dopo secoli e secoli ...ultimamente il tempo scarseggia ma ciò nonostante volevo scrivere di questa promozione estiva della Native Instruments che magari non tutti conoscono...

Nei mesi di Agosto e Settembre 2011 acquistando da rivenditori autorizzati, oppure dal sito della Native, un KONTROL X1 si avrà gratuitamente una "copia" del nuovo Traktor PRO 2 ...già proprio così... già da tempo avevo intenzione di prendere questo controller poi adesso che è saltata fuori anche questa promo... beh... l'ordine è già stato effettuato in mattinata, in più mi sono anche preso la sua custodia.

Come ottenere la licenza per TRAKTOR PRO 2 : 

• bisogna acquistare un Kontrol X1 nel mese di Agosto 2011 / Settembre 2011;
• bisogna scannerizzare o fotografare il regolare scontrino/fattura;
• bisogna loggare/registrarsi a questo link della native per poi caricare la scansione/foto;
• si riceverà una mail di conferma ed entro 5 giorni lavorativi verranno verificati i dati, si riceverà poi per mail il SERIAL NUMBER e il link (valido 90 giorni) per il download della propria copia di Traktor;
• dopo aver attivato il prodotto si riceverà un ulteriore mail con un voucher utilizzabile per ordinare la cover per il Kontrol X1 da utilizzare come controller per i Sample Deck. (valido fino al 30 settembre)
